We had a great meeting tonight with almost fifty members in attendance! On that note, our membership total is up to 96 women! Warm welcome to all our new members!
Tonight we had three great presentations from Coles County Habitat for Humanity, the Charleston Community Band, and Access Ramps of Coles County. The decision was a tough one and ultimately the vote went to the Access Ramps of Coles County. This organization provides wheelchair ramps for the injured, elderly and disabled residents of Coles County free of charge with approval from their homeowner and a referral from a medical professional verifying need. Our donation tonight should significantly reduce their waitlist! If you were unable to make tonight’s meeting you will soon be receiving an email with instructions on how to add your check to our donation. We will continue to collect funds in the next week and will update the site soon with our final total. Thank you to all of our presenters and 96 Women of Coles County!
